looks like rain is starting to hammer down in Alps(Vicco) Mt Hotham has put down 2mm in 30min....it should be interesting to watch this accumulation rate tonight....well I am assuming its rain(water):(
Wangaratta has put on approx. 10mm this arvo from lunch time...

check out Hothams temp positive 5 which is correct cos Hotham Airport is about 9degC...

average wind speed on Mt H just above 60km/hr from the Nth too...

Fairly soggy out at Creswick. Some localised flooding around with side roads closed or blocked off. Trip back to Melbourne was wet the whole way, heavy rain with light rain. Cool to cold in Creswick.

Northerlies died down at Buller. Bottom of blue bullet very water logged. Main run down to about 20-30cm depth very rain affected. Not sure if a groomer can get over it. Lots of water running off the sides. Fog is lifting. Still consistent rain.

Possibly just starting to snow up high at Perisher. Reported temp is 0.5 and it looks like there is the faintest amount of settling on the Olympic cam

Snowed heavily on mt perisher 9:30 to 11, big fat flakes. Accumulated 3-4cm up top, which was actually quite nice to ski. Unfortunately then turned back to rain / wet snow at the top, which on top of the snow turned it very gluggy and slow. Raining very heavily at perisher base with the creek flowing big.
