Some decent max gusts forecast to be in front of the cold air if it verifys. Just over the border.
Unfortunately not for various reasons, but it was much better than expected for the first dump of the season, much better than the peak in 1993 and 2006. It's not fully snowed in, but another 20 cm dump up there and it's game on. I can see 20 cm on the western side of the range this Saturday for sure.
From the point of anybody's personal sanity its a good time to make a MAY dash down / up there and get 7,000 ft of fresh air.
It may be a clipper but its a decent sized clipper at that, with an excellent flick

I think it will be mostly snow with minimal rain at 15 to 30 cm on the western side.
I’m no expert, but the air brushing the southern vic looks colder that the blast we had last weekend imo?
528 thickness not that far off the vic coast on Saturday night.
This system still looks pretty solid for southern & mountain vic imo
