Probably a few there that owe you a beer.
and a video...
lucky you didn't leave any beers in our ute up at Porters Dave.... would have stopped us meeting the most unimaginative barmaid in all Sheffield, New Zealand ... What beers do you have love? Dunno, she said Beer is beer
I would have left them for you but we skied until last lifts and you guys had already left.
Great video above. Olympus looks the goods.
Ace pics & trip.
Love the rope tows over there.
On our recent Clubby road trip, my wife and I also went to the Sheffield pub (first time in there). We sit down and the barmaid calls out to ask if we want a bar menu. Instead of grabbing them from just behind her she tells us that we need to walk around into the public bar to get them from the wall. When we come back, there is a "reserved" sign on our table that we are 90% sure wasn't there from 15 seconds ago. We are told it is reserved for the staff. We left, drove another 10 minutes to Darfield to eat.
We also heard about Springfield Pub being a bit strange and were not overly impressed on one visit.
At Darfield Pub we had a nice meal.
This is so majestic!
Yes, but pity about the queue forming outside said location.............@BoofHead
