Almost as bad as standing at the top of a perfect 35-40 degree pitch of 100 metres of waist deep pow and 6 snowboarders come in underneath and traverse the entire face on six separate lines. Fall line people FALL LINE.

...or when four skiers decide to stop and have a 20 min team meeting just in the entry of the main chute at club lake, then one of them drops his un-braked ski down the chute

That one's hardly a skin track though, more a highway! :)

A few mins earlier the same one had dropped his ski at the very top and dived headfirst toward the edge to grab it. He came so close to going over - literally thought I was about to see someone die.

    No. that's great.

You just do the excuse me, excuse me and get first tracks down. Albeit the unmanned ski could potentially claim first tracks but loiterers I love. Have scored many a good first track because of people faffing about. I generally ask the question are you guys going and put some pressure on. Most of the time they say, you go for it.

    Sometimes I don't ask.;)

if only we could fly / boat to tassie and do our 2 weeks iso in the NPs......maybe im onto to something....perhaps they should be our quarantine hotels.

'Heres a pack, a tent, theres some food drops, couple bottles of plonk, now fk off for 2 weeks, dont talk to anyone and enjoy the view'

My MIL is from tassie and had to come over for a funeral here a few weeks ago. When she got back and did her iso she had bio-sec staff in white vans drive up her 1-2km driveway just to check she was there

I scoped it from below in Sept 2017 and it looked skiable that day. I didn't have any ski gear with me.
