I might have missed resetting it the previous day.

But we will often get a real local cooling effect about a hour before dawn that is cooler again due to an predawn seabreeze up West Lakes.

From yesterday, dust being kicked & picked up when the front of the Southerly came thru the rain shadow area just East of the Ranges which would normally dominate the view out the windscreen here.

    I keep forgetting to advise.

    20/1/20 6 & 1/4 mls at Exeter.
    21/1/20 1 & 1/2 mls at Exeter.

And a fair bit at Kent Town which filled the excavation we started on the Friday and flooded the Basement a little.:blb:
    All cleaned up now.

Falls in the 50-70mm range due over the next 36 hours for Adelaide.
Global models going the hardest. AXS-R/C on the conservative-side.

I'll believe it when I see it. Rain forecasts for ADL (well at Exeter) are variously optimistic to dreaming in my experience in recent times. That said we spent most of yesterday prepping our 2000 deep lift pit hole (in Kent Town) for rain and are running around this AM to source a float switch pump to drop into the hole for the weekend.

AXS-R, the most conservative of all the models.
    40-50mm for Adelaide region.
Keeping this here, for verification tomorrow:

Had a light shower in Seaford around 5am...

Quite sticky outside atm in Kent Town.. 32 but feels like 34.

Also not hopefully on the rain... These northern events never seem to deliver much.

Yep, we are feeling the 54%, good thing I'm just watching the boys work and not pushing the drills myself. They are soaked, perspiration.

    18mls this morning. :woohoo:

Despite BOMs forecast of a wetter January than normal, it wasn’t. But better than last year when the January rainfall was zero.

Very smoky in ADL & surrounds yesterday. Went Victor for a day trip, smoke the whole way plus. I think this is the smoke doing laps of tge planet.

It did make for an unusual sunset for us. Reminded us of London sunsets.

Glad I’m not there right now. I have heavy snow falling outside my hotel room window in Shiga Kogen instead :D

Had to do another road trip today up the Murray. It was cooler than home (unusual) and even tried to rain on me there. A stiff South Easterly blowing, again unusual. The usual paddock was crossing the road in the stiff breeze.

PS viz was done to 25M once in the red zone.
