I don't know what pricing they're taking 15% off, but I just put in my annual September dates (MEL - YVR) for conference and the fares (with the 15% disc) were more than double the last time I checked and more than double anything we've ever paid. Interestingly I checked on Skyscanner for a comparative business class seats and Virgin have a flight via LAX for $5500 pp yet AC on the same day, direct, is $16,900 pp - there's even a banner ad for the 15% off sale on the page LOL

I just checked for March this year and got $956 return Melbourne to Denver via YVR which is pretty damn cheap. Pity I am already locked into Japan as I now have a free bed in the Colorado mountains...... Maybe next year!

For that price I'd want my own plane.
