In a few days I will be in Cardona, Spain up near Andora. I will then continue onto France. Now I can make a 100km detour to travel through Andora and maybe stay the night. I have looked up Andora on the various travel websites but can't see anything spectacular to see or do. The big spa thing looks interesting but can you Andora experts suggest something that is worth the 100km detour? In the last 3 weeks I have been in Segovia, San Sebastián, Ronda, Carmona etc so I am a very spoiled tourist. Thanks

No tourist info anyone? I have been in Spain for 3 weeks and it has been hot so I bet there is little snow in Andora. Besides I left all my ski gear in Meribel where I skied for 2 weeks before the Spain road trip, so no ski gear anyway. I might still drive through Andora on the main road just to see the mountains even if they have little snow on them.

In fact my daughter was there about three weeks ago and found some fantastic skiing ! Small scenic villages and one great big resort, good food from all reports. They had magnificent weather , sunny days , light snow over night.

Well I'm here. Sunny and it must be 25C. And yes the finals of the World Cup are on and they are opposite my hotel. Helicopters flying everywhere towing big buckets of snow to cover the rocks. Hotel is €32 a night with an indoor pool. Bloody good value. Oh and it's Andora's national day today, so it is party time.

You’ll have been and gone by now but I plan on driving through that neck of the woods later in the year and will be swinging by Telemark Pyranees at Ax Les Thermes. Hoping they can sort me out with some new boots.
