    Here is a Virtual tour showing some highlights from an Antarctic excursion earlier this year.
    • You don't need a VR headset, but it helps.
    • Otherwise best if you open it on your phone, enable 360 view and audio and then "look around"
    • Failing that you can view it on a computer
    • Obviously this was made with school students in mind

    Instructions, for those who need them:
    1. Send this email to your phone, and open this link: bit.ly/antarctictour
    2. Go to settings (cog icon) and turn ambient audio and 360 view ON.
    3. Turn the volume up and then hold your phone up and look around as if you are looking through binoculars. (or just drag your finger on the screen)
    4. Tap on the points of interest for more info, tap on main image to return to looking around

    Mr Williams regaled me about your outrigger propulsion ingenuity!

    I'm glad it worked for you all.

    @Moondog55 , I used the same sleeping bag I use when camping out above the treeline in Aust in midwinter. It's just not that cold on the Antarctic peninsula in winter. Loose-fitting Scarpa Maestrales were good, yhough they would not have been warm enough if we had done more pitching high up.

    @currawong , Yeh, the cardboard goggles are good fun: These work fine for me and I have wonky eyesight.

    @cruisin along , there are some stage 2 - 4 teaching notes here: https://bit.ly/2Gwtyld

    @Untele-whippet , that particular day was such a great day out, even though we had to sail away from this (everything forward and starboard in that pic is unclimbed)
