Hi all... just thought that I would ask the question just to see what has been happening up there over the summer... that and I thought that it was a little sad that there has been nothing going on in the Selwyn forum for quite a while!

It's looking a little grim snow wise up there at the moment. Anything on the radar to help the season start??

Not quite as good as we hoped last weekend, but there could be another 20-30cm hitting the ski fields this weekend (down to 1400m too). Looking at the cams, this should get things kicked off nicely for Selwyn as the base looks passable. Taking some friends and family up there from Tumut the following weekend, so crossing fingers [IMG]

Nothing new really happens at Selwyn, hence why this sub-forum is dead, well besides the triple chairlift which was only half completed. They don't spend money, because they know the investment potential just isn't there.

They had the whole summer of 11/12 to build a very, very basic BBQ shelter area at the top of the toboggan slope, and yet it was not completed for the 2012 season... it just sat there as an uncompleted, structural eyesore. The care factor of Selwyn is zero, unless it is making money from people. It's sad really, but thats what the place is turning into.
