Usually stay at St Falls privates, simply the most convenient place to stay. Supermarket is right there.

Yeah definitely a great spot, we usually stay round that area - have stayed in Les Chalet quite a few times was just thinking of something different. The spa's on the balcony are very appealing.

Gebis will give you access (via Gully/Eagles) to Cloud 9 vs St Falls going via the FEX.

I'm just wondering what the actual apartments are like . They are both in great locations for different reasons . cant really find many pics of the interior of Gebi's . St Falls interior looks nice but not sure of the complex .

St Falls park in front and use luggage trolley and lift to access apartment. Heated floors throughout, really effective drying cupboard, heaps of room and always spotless. Zero mould (unlike where we stayed last year )

Ski locker and 'drying room' accessed via relatively steep stairs.
Ensuite drain can get a smell on occasion if I was to be picky

St Falls is <10 years old, Gebis much older. Apartments are generally quite small. If you can get around on skis other apartments like Koki or Attunga Lodge (larger 2 bed units) both have a pool and easy access to FX chair though you'd probably want to use oversnow for your luggage.

Thanks for input. decided to stay at Les Chalet again . Can't beat the location and never had any problems with any of the apartments. It's always a safe bet.

I've never been in any of them so I didn't want to say earlier. Knowing Gebi and Sheena (his departed wife) I would expect that the apartments would have been very good when built. Sheena had a lot of style and neither would have done anything that wasn't good quality. Lots of stories of problems at St Falls, although I think largely fixed now. Les Chalet flats are much older and will vary depending on the owner.

Didn't they sell off the units and shop with lease back a couple of years ago?

We found Les Chalets apartments small in the 2nd bedroom - 4 bunks in a room and no circulation space. Good location but no pool or spa.

Gebi sold everything quite a while ago. I was commenting on original build of the apartments, not current state - of which I have no knowledge.

@currawong - I can only vaguely recall the photos from when they were sold off. No idea either of how they look today.

Have a look at the country club, no oversnow required.
