But it has now stopped
Wind howling at Smiggins (Perisher). Mizzle or windblown snow (I’m not going outside to assess).
A great snow base at Perisher now ...
Temps on the rise.....
Looking wet @Buller.

It sounds wet outside but I don’t even want to open the curtains to look.
Starting to accumulate nicely
Not nice at Baw Baw very wet
Been raining all night in Merrijig.
Marginal temps at Perisher and 6mm since positive temps (Village)
Pretty windy ,looks SW with at best a wintery mix but more on the side of r##n at Periher carpark ,1c temp.
Very mild on the morning Queanbeyan dog walk, grrrrr
Chains from Wilson's Valley .... followed by carpark snottery.
Wow chains from wilsons!! Really?! Way to warm and windy at sawpit ck. Few spots of rain with mostly clear sky.
Looks like Buller is doing its Westerly thing.
Fun times for the inter school kids.
Will turn later when it goes SW after lunch, but a bit more wet to come yet.
wintery mix would be the most complimentary description of the weather at Buller
Looks like a shouldabeenhereyesterday type day.
Monday was the day. We've had some good flurries here at Buller this morning but there's no denying it's "moist" out there (and the Multiclass IS race for kids with special needs is going to be a challenge today.)
Windy sludge strong S/Sw winds in smiggins carpark
Was r**ning on and off throughout the night at Thredbo, and very windy. Looks very wet outside and much of the snow on the ground has been washed away.
allbeit a half day before huey spoiled the party with a weird icy cold cloud at apx high noon. Otherwise The Mount was just a skirt of windblown almost to the load stations on all three sides.
Nicer down in Jindy!
Everything is moving sideways here at Perisher
On and off, rain and drizzle from about 6pm last night at dinner plain. Turned to snow about an hour ago.
Snowing lightly at BC hardly a breeze to raise a sail everything on wind hold
Rode Brumby t bar at Perisher from 8.30 for a solid hour. Drifts up high easy 30cm deep and a fair 10cm everywhere else. Was all snow till about 9.30 when it warmed up and the crowds got into it.
cold and very windy in tassie , lifts on wind hold at Ben, snow forecast down too 300m later
Sitting in the van at Perisher waiting to do a linen transfer for Charlotte's says 2c.
Doesn't seem too windy but it's moist...
Wet snow on the Friday Flat cam at Thredbo. Possibly a surprise to some, or possibly not...
Just got the narrowest window of sun on Sun Valley and it was very nice indeed. Brilliant sun, then rolling shadows across the bowl. Beautiful. Love this place.
Buller has gone below zero, looks slightly more palatable out the window, CG going out for a couple of laps. I’ll babysit and ski this arvo maybe.
Definitely falling as snow on the Perisher XC trails over the past hour and a half, although it is wet and barely settling. Very windy
Based upon my real world, stand alone empirical evidence I'd say there's been a small net loss of cover at village level.
Fridge-o-metre has declined by approx 5cm. 'evidence':
We like to use the word consolidation in the snow reporting world.
Friday morning's looming icepack should be nicely consolidated ready for service in September.
Yep. CG went for a ski around lunchtime (Buller) - said it was very sticky. Upcoming clear nights will freeze it rock solid.
Just a tad windy out there....
Yeah YSSY is running 07/25 . Again.
Perisher says: 'how's everyone feelin' tonight?'
I think it will look tidy tomorrow morning
It's a 'steady 1-2cm/hour for a solid 8 hour', kinda night.
axsr reckons a burst
anyways --this is an observation
Its nigh on zero at P
Current Dew Points are better than progged on EC 00Z run this arvo.
It was VERY WINDY XC skiing at Sun Valley yesterday before lunch . After lunch visibility was close to zero XC skiing along the Mt. McKay road. The was non snow moisture falling from the sky( R**n).That is when I retired for the day.
Will be keen to see what’s landed across the resort this morning....
bleak, windy and snowing lightly on and off at Buller. Just a dusting so far this morning and was def liquid precipitation in the early hours of the morning (2am). Temps are dropping with the southerly. Good day for indoors by the fire here
Perisher claiming 10cm overnight.
That’s the snowstake speaking, been a bit more beneficial for them this system
