...AusSnow will kick off in the next couple of weeks as the AusStorm Convective Outlook fades to a distant memory.....
AusStorm - soon to be AusSnow

There is also a daily forecast outlook for the central ranges area of Victoria
(above 400m) which is handy for Vics who want a local snow chase......
    Victorian Central Ranges Outlook
NOTE...With the approach of the Australian 'cool season',  the convective weather discussion offered by Australian Sky and Weather will go on holidays over the next two weeks or so...then be replaced by AusSnow a description of expected weather across the southeast highlands of Australia with a focus on Victoria. AUSSKY will provide a brief tropical summary for the immediate Australian region during the cool season with occasional discussion on events over the northwest and central Pacific.  The convective weather discussion has provided by a panel of enthusiasts over the past warm season and will recommence towards the end of September or in early October 2006
....regards the weather group panel, AUSSKY - Victoria Australia.

Looks like it could be tomorrow, Easter Sunday (reading into the chief forecaster's post this morning) ......
"Thank you to everyone who may have read the Australian Sky and Weather convective discussion over the past 6 months - this will be the last summary for the summer season 2006 and will re-commence in October 2006...This discussion will be replaced by AusSnow for the winter season with a main coverage over the Victorian alpine areas...Also a short Australian region tropical summary will continue with inclusion of any significant conditions in across the western Pacific region.."
