The Real CC this morning
North Molly breaking from the point to the reef carpark.
Pretty impressive, left hand point break all the way across mollymook. Just cant get down there today, would have loved to check if a certain point break in a certain bay not far north of batemans bay has a nice wave today.......?
Hastings Point yesterday.
Im actually very sad to not be in Australia atm.
Live now, so crazy
Bloke in red with the bald head took the biggest beating before.
I know the one.
We call it Shotgun, has the rock that pops up dry in the middle of a section down the line.
It would be winding all the way around onto the boulders.IMO
And he's down
20 ft down on the Far South Coast.
NO way hose'
bower was nuts this morning
nobody wanted deadmans
The start of it....
And the scale of it....
Unreal photos and unreal footage of the Cape Fear challenge! I love seeing pics of what everyone else is getting.
I managed a surf in Adelaide over the weekend. Did a quick search for waves but only managed onshore 1-2' of dribble on the south coast. Came back to the mid and found 1' of clean gutless waves.
Water temp was amazing though.
The Cape Fear contest was insane, heart in mouth for every beatdown and they mostly just got smashed. "Better" or at least rideable conditions tomorrow I think.
I was gunning for Jughead. Seems like a nice guy and legitimately underground, would love to see him win it rather than one of the Bra Boys thugs.
With ya there
I pissed my back is farked almost 5months out of the water and counting
Nah Go Russ !!!.
Local boy down my way.
He's partner is one of our family friends Daughter.
Have met him ( and his chill Dad / shaper ) and he is humble , polite ticks all the boxes.
A good kid point blank.
North Narra was holding quite well around midday today
Another from this morning ....
Some of the craziest footage I've seen live that's for sure. Upcoming period looks good for a large portion of aus as well. Bring it!
This coastal damage is terrible.
Why Govts didn't legislate a 50-100m building exclusion strip along pretty much all coastline, and other foreshore/applicable river front areas, many decades ago is beyond me.
In other news:
That Red Bull Cape Fear surfing event went ahead on the southern area of Botany Bay today (Cape Solander, Kurnell area) - watched a bit of it, insane. Dirty water, messy, pretty bloody dangerous. But good on 'em.
watching a replay of Cape Fear now on red Bull TV - INSANE !
I thought that was a crumb of cookie on my screen!
Flicked through the Cape Fear contest this am.
Really noteable was the composure of the 2 young blokes.
And Richie Vas just getting beating after beating....
Respect to all.

Next will be hood.
Then booties end of month. (do not like)
Then gloves.(see above)
Is cold already.
At Singapore stopover, hopefully in the water this arvo.
Think I'm getting too soft for that these days !.
Tho if it's pumping and not 8 or 10 foot plus I'm out there.
Cape Fear .... those guys would be pissed they had to surf that lumpy mess when so many better quality epic waves where absolutely firing.
I hope they got paid to waste their day surfing novelty crap.
Was definitely not quite right.
Swell direction etc.
There where some nice Jetski and camper rigs on the road down this way yesterday
That particular Richie Vas wipeout was horrendous!!!! I really thought the worst when seeing that - was thinking broken neck / back..........lucky. Agree, amazing courage and skill way beyond their years from the two young blokes.
From the Sunshine coast to Tassie, every NE NNE E spot was absolutely pumping.
Ahhhhh the life of the young................... Our young bloke now on his way to Sumbawa today to surf this in a expected 6-10ft swell.
Dangerous stuff that Red Bull ....
I've not tried it but would take more than red bull to get me out in this....
Scary scary stuff.
Some great rides happening at the Cape Fear
Bierke wins the final scoring 19.97 out of 20. Crazy surfing!!
That was one of the most incredible performances , not just by bierke but everyone .. that you are likely to ever see !!
What an event !!
Just saw the highlights.
Yeah just Wow.
Well done Russell.
I have nothing....
Bloke is 18.
Tathra wharf closed: http://www.begadistrictnews.com.au/story/3951001/wharf-damaged-by-huge-waves/
That is a bomb, absolute bomb.
South Narrabeen on Monday and apparently the guy paddled out and into that is what I heard!
Certainly was over the weekend.
any wounds from the red bull and you'd want heavy duty antibiotics for a month! just ask @Astro66
