Wow, great price. Is that one with the new Tufflite flex pattern? I'd be interested to hear how it goes.

Fouraquare, there was definitely a right hander at the very tip of Coogee that appeared to be throwing over rideable but huge waves, but (a) I'm more of a 6' surfer than 10' monsters and (b) there was no-one out there and I'm not too keen to trial a new break all by myself at that size. I'm not sure if that's Lurline bay though.

There's a left almost right on the northern rocks of Coogee that always looks nice on big days, but I never see anyone surfing it. I'm sorely tempted to give it a go next time around. No room for mistakes on takeoff but it always seems to look nice.

If I waa going to surf that day it would've been on the 6' lefts at Maroubra (but for the 8-10' clean up sets) or Coogee at around 3-4' (but for the shark)!

I pretty sure its old stock buzzy, the TL2's lost their really crisp white and are now a dull white and going cheap(I bought it $375 at kirra surf). They had other TL2 decks there but i wanted another Pancho, my only problem is that its running future fins, which i think is a good system but i don't have any accounts to buy future fins through. It is dead flat up here, supposed to be an increasing swell, hunting for fins before we do get a swell.

3-4' and sloppy with the side-shore breeze at Bondi this morning. Last weeks swell didn't do much for the sandbanks, with plenty of closeouts on offer when the sets pushed through. Water is warm, but a bit manky after all of the rain.

    Biter or bitter?
FFS he should be in it...he's parko.
Straddie stands up so much most sticks struggle to get into it from the takeoff..

[IMG] i put that one there just for you. Yeah holding up well, the xlite maybe a little heavy at 8ft for the learner chicks with the layer of glass in them as opposed to the other ones you do, will be keen again before next summer for a few more.

Not a rasta myself, do like the the colors, music and lifestyle [IMG]

I have to say the future fin setup seems a lot more solid and cleaner than the FCS system.

    Board is 6'3", 18 7/8", 2 1/2"

The future fin is a full length channel, not two little plug holes, the fin just seems to sit in a lot cleaner to the base of the board.

I like the look of those fins, they look like they'd be more stable than FCS. Have they got the same annoying allen key screw in them? Looks a bit different.

They have one allen key screw at the front of the to hold it in.
Went for this tail pad, the far king rep just dropped past and had a bunch in the back of his van.

I wish they used a phillips head or something else. Every board I've ever had with FCS I've had dramas with those allen key barstards though I love it how the fin snaps out from the tab if you hit the reef. That's saved me a few times from being out of the water for a couple of days to glass a fin back in.
My current stick is a Balin shaped by Bean, 6'7 18 1/2 2 3/4 though looking at your new board has got me thinking I need a newie.

Looks good, gotta love the red and black. See the bombers fly up up. [IMG] [IMG]

All I can see in the pic is a bells surfing contest trophy at Bells Beach that just so happens to be a world famous surf beach. A backdrop of Bells Beach and Mick Fanning. You mods have lost the plot.

Mod note: The Surf thread does have a lot of latitude compared to the other weather threads.
However it was just degenerating today to (nice) pictures of surfboards, which is probably just stretching the envelope. [IMG]

The surf thread have always been an allowed anomally, mainly due to the summer lack of traffic in Weather. I've always tried to keep out of it. It's mostly related to surf location, waves and what's happening.

Some would say it doesn't belong in Weather at all. I suppose it's up to you lot to keep it here..... being nice to the moderators helps [IMG]

Its not the "surfing conditions thread" or the "surfing weather thread".
Surfers are genuinely interested in equipment just like skiers and boarders are, and photos of said equipment are definitely relevant. It would be a little silly to open a surfers equipment thread. With all due respect to the mods, I love you guys and think you do a great job in often difficult circumstances and think we should have a moderators appreciation week (every week) [IMG] but seriously you guys must have had a slow day in moderating.
