With Melbourne in stage 4 I am finding myself once again looking for vicarious adventure tales. I recently binge watched Beau Miles' 6 part series Bass by Kayak, and from there fell into a bit of a dive of adventure films - but one thing I noticed was the significant dearth of any good snow-based content (ideally splitboarding, but I'm not fussed). I'm aware of Killian Jornet's Impossible Traverse, and the wonderful series by the Oates brothers of their AAWT winter crossing, but not much else. Does ski/snowboard touring simply not lend itself as well to this kind of filmmaking? Does anyone have any other recommendations for this type of content, or anything decent and educational/instructional, preferably on YouTube or similar?
