Whose going?? Some great snowfalls with Lake Louise and Sunshine getting 80cm+ in the last week.

Got the H1N1 Vaccine today, some sleeping pills for the plane ride and the ANZ Travel card. Will be working the season from around Dec 1 onwards.. anyone else visiting or working there this season?

Lake Louise could get another 20cm by Thursday. What mountains are we skiing, all of them? I planned on taking $4,500+ and work money but a few unexpected expenses means I can probably only afford a season pass for Lake Louise and not the Big 3! [IMG]

Currently feeling like spring skiing already, plenty of snow and still relatively warm and sunny.

I wish I was going back, I had such a good time last year.

Stants5 - revy is amazing man, I went there last yr, it blew my mind. Long, long long, and constantly steep. Such an excellent place. Good move on heading to Banff for Aus day too, cause there isnt much going on in Revy...anytime.

I went to LL and sunshine, and much prefered Sunshine. LL is awesome, and definately has the terrain over Sunshine, but sunshine had much better snow...and is still awesome.

might have to look at plane tickets right now...

Had to cancel my week at LL at the last minute due to business emergency. Fortunately flights were on credit card points, somehow makes the loss more palatable than tickets paid for with hard-earned. Best I can do is watch the world cup on TV in about half an hour. Not unhappy about missing out on that cold front that's moving in though, LL is cold enough at the best of times.

Got down to -33°C this morning but at least it got up to -20°C to make touring slightly more pleasant:

Photos have to be hosted somewhere on the internet to post them in this forum.

    1. Go to a free photo hosting site like Photobucket and create an account if you don't already have one
    2. follow the steps to upload pics from your computer to your album
    3. roll the mouse over the thumbnail of the image you want to post - in Photobucket it will display the pic's IMG code.
    4. highlight and copy the IMG code
    5. go back to the forums and paste the IMG code into the text of a new post.
    6. check that it all worked by using the "preview reply" button before you submit the post.

The recent dump thats broken the recent freshies drought has made the Tryst Lake Chutes in Kananaskis a decent run again today.
