i know that if they get enough snow this year they will have some differant features to last year, like the roller coaster box(as they didnt get enough snow last year to set some features up so they did what they could), and pretty sure they will set up something similar to last years forum stairs when the time comes for the battle at bawbaw
air bag will continue running on non windy days

I didn't even know they HAD a park last year! I was pretty excited to read on the website that there will be a park, cause it's nice and close to Melbourne and cheap.

What's is like? Is it worth going just for the park? (or the advanced runs)

Is it only good later in the season?

Baw Baw knows that they can't compete with the "big boys" for area and steep terrain so they are targeting the park market. Snow permitting there will be multiple parks for all levels of experience... Baw baw also has the advantage of being able to offer some pretty good riding on very low levels of snow ie 15-20cm and you can have a ball!

Keep your eyes on the website for updates.

But there's something even betterer!
Baw Baw has a sight seeing heligochopper stationed in the carpark all season!
$95.00 for a 15 minute flight.
Or for someone as financial as IceMan, he can commute from Traralgon

When is the park complete? I imagine they need to wait until there has been a decent amount of snow to build it? Is it no good until August then? Keen to check it out as soon as it's decent.

They'll do their best. But with only 20cm they'd be pushing it. We've all been hoping for a few more cms this week which hasn't eventuated...

At least the cold temps haven't allowed any melting to occur!
