So they were there then! Good
latest weather problem looks like ripping winds.
What's the go if thredbo chairs are on wind-hold?
Either way, its not looking pretty, well on Sunday arvo or Monday it might.
well it hurts to say it but i may have to back out aswell.
Won't know for sure untill tomorrow arvo but i've had a lot of stuff come up. I could probably wrestle with it and head up but with forecasts for gales, destructive winds on friday and simply crap weather I don't know if it's worth it.
I'll let ya'll know tomorrow arvo. It'd suck to have to miss this trip!
If the majorty of people decide to back out of this weekend, what are the chances for doing the same another weekend, even if there isn't much snow.
ods, we are still going, if worst comes to worst we can stay in the van and drink the brumby dry
Sounds good to me
Mate, when footy scheduled our presentation night for Friday I was shattered, I was so looking forward to this trip. But the weather is looking nasty for the weekend. I'm a maine range rookie but was up in July on solo and camped at garigo (spelling?) to suss things out. Had clear weather but strong to gale force winds up top and it was bad just in the resort, even in clear weather, just tough to move due to the strength of the winds and see with all the crap blowing around. Met up with some experienced NSW folk back at camp that night and they were keen to head out back the next day and happy for me to tag along, winds we're even stronger when we woke up next day and they pulled out.
nothing sucks more than sittin in a tent in a gale.
Not sitting in one is worse.
I stand corrected.
but i'm still out.
Same...I'd rather rub my face in hot nails than go skiing in the rain.
Geezuz...thought you guys were hard!!
Saddle warming at the brumby by the looks of things!
Not hard, Sensible!
Don't try and use logic on me right!!
Not sure JD would understand the meaning of that word. I doubt it's part of his vocabularly.
Ohhhhhhh, thats cold.......true, but cooooold!
True. He's soooooooooooooooooooffft
So whats the go, who is going and who is not. I take it most people are not.
