Ben Bullen lodge

I spent some time over Easter at Sth Perisher. This lodge looks like it may not be operational this season.

I have tried to research it and havn t found anything.


Building a village on the car park, has that idea progressed any? The master plan talked about getting beds off the lodges to make that bigger.Is this concept still relevant?

i called national parks a while back about Ben Bullen and they said it wasnt compliant and they were going to demolish it

Manager always had a bit of a rep for that. Have heard stories about food and health that would make you

Its sad to see the buillding, it's starting to bio degrade, lots of moisture getting in. If its demolished i wonder if another club lodge can be built on the site?

Yep, when I read the thread title I thought it would be about the Baw Baw Ben Bullen (which is nicely alliterative). It's really sad to see club lodges fizzle out, generations of volunteers put vast amounts of work into them... and then they die.

I know of a few other ski clubs with the same name based on different mountains. I think there are three different Oldina lodges, all run by different clubs in three different states.
