There'll be some folks looking for this eventually, so here's yer new season BW thread. Big off-season project: new bridge in the village!!! No more cramped old culvert bottleneck en route from the village to Plaza/Bullet chairs. It's been replaced by a big concrete bridge to take vehicle traffic over the ski run. They've had a good summer season with visits to the bike park growing quickly and exceeding management forecasts. They've added a new flow trail and four more tech trails. I was there this past weekend for a mountain bike DH and the mountain was busy with lots of foot traffic and cars in most driveways around Snow Pines estate where I was staying. Lots more businesses were open compared to the same weekend last year. Real estate prices are on the rise because of the greater prospects for owner usage and rental revenue. Anyone thinking of buying in would be advised to get serious soon because the dedication to summer growth is very clear, price growth is going to be pretty sharp with so many boomers retiring from Vancouver/Edmonton/Calgary to Kelowna and surrounds.
