I first strapped on a pair of skis at Buller in 77. I was a boarder at a school in Wangaratta and one of my little mateys lived in Buller village. His dad worked for the forestry commission.
He invited me up for the weekend and I just fit in to his old man’s boots (I still recall the pain).
I’ve always wondered what happened to him.
His name was Chris Shaw, a ginger nicknamed Rooster. Anybody know/knew him?
