Does anybody have any information on when the mirimbah-Buller bus shuttles commence for this year? Now that the snow has pretty much melted i am keen to get back on the bike. Also do you have to book to get a seat on the shuttle? thanks in advance
pezza, the bike shuttle will begin on cup weekend in november. the shop is as keen as everyone else for mountain bike season to roll around. call 57775529 for more info
A friend and I are keen to do some biking around Buller in a couple of months. Where would the best place to camp be? Probably would have to be accessible by 2WD.
How technical is the Buller down to Mirimbah trail exactly? Would low intermediate riders (casual xc rider on weekends) be able to tackle it?
the delatite river spur trail is the easier of the two tracks.. Its like a fire trail. the top section is a bit tricky but you can also access the track from BOX CORNER , which is on the Mt Buller rd. If you get onto the track from here you miss the harder sections. THe Mirimbah Bike Shuttle will drop ypou off at Box Corner and point you in the right direction.
