    Just a heads-up.

When you get to the end of this process you're told to print the page and bring it up. It has a barcode that has to be scanned.

I did this on a tablet and the printing task took me a while to figure out, never having done it before.

Turned out that a confirmation email was sent to the registered address with the barcode. So printing from the desktop would've been far easier.

I'm p*ssed off at having to wait this time around to see what Hotham and other resorts will charge by way of top-up to extend the pass to other resorts. Wasn't that way last year and my feeling is that Hotham needs to be more active in attracting business.

Spending $40 per day to park at Loch car park to go BC is a joke. Most of that goes on resort transport and ski patrol neither of which I need.

So what pass have you decided on.

Im still debating on what to do as I cant find enough info. I'm thinking of doing the All Resorts with the price of Hotham pass.

You know more than I do dossa. Where should I be looking?

All Resorts was an option on the FC website last year but not this.

I read on the forum that it was going to be a pass-extension game.

I would suggest that the game being played in regards to the All Resorts pass is as a result of the exhorbitant Hotham season entry pass pricing. This has been discussed on Hotham forum under Rumours 2013 (not a new Fleetwood Mac album).

If the All Resort pass was released before end of early bird period I think that numbers of Hotham regulars who would purchase a Falls or Buller season and top up All Resorts in order to 'stick it up Hotham RMB' would have a huge impact on Hotham RMB revenue.

Last year IIRC the Falls std pass was $300 and it was another $200 to opt for all resorts.

Yoiks, I see the Hotham day pass is up to $43.50.

Might drive to DP and bus in; around $16 last year.

Yeah, this is the potential problem with the All Resorts pass for this season as the Hotham full price season pass is $495.

Just as an aside, peeps have long memories for rip-offs and this is mine .... the first time I went to Hotham I got to the entry gate in the arvo and was charged for that day and the next. They could've told me that if I waited for 20 mins ('til 3pm IIRC) I could avoid that day's entry cost, but they didn't.

Information from the net indicates that in the past, the All Resorts Pass, has been valued at 1.6 X the average price of season entry to the five Resorts.

I'm a broken record on this one, but my money is on after early bird expires and Hotham have locked as many as possible into their exhorbitantly priced season pass. I predict that their spin might be something like this...buy a Hotham Season pass for $495 and for only (say) $30 more your can upgrade to an All Resorts Pass. To stick it up the Hotham RMB rip off I would hope that regular Hotham skiers buy a Falls Creek or Buller Season Pass ($270 early bird, $310 full) and then upgrade at a total cost of (say) $525 to All Resorts. To declare where I sit, as many know, I am a regular Falls skier living in Mt Beauty and working winters at Falls and only do Hotham on limited days. The $43.50 day entry will only drive me to upgrade my Falls Season Pass to All Resort and have no money flow directly to Hotham RMB.

Cool; thanks for the update Hully.

So that's what, early bird? And $68 above last year's normal bird.

+1 & I were scratching our heads when we got the registered post slip at the post office today.

The discussion went something like: "I didn't buy anything......"

"Well, do you think I did?"

    "...it's not from the solicitors......"

"...aw, it must be the FC car park".

Postmaster hasn't seen snow (even though he has spent time in the UK etc). Tried to convince him to come down to FC in Autumn as he doesn't like the cold too much.
