I thought this was going to be one you could carry:
    https://www.zoaeng.com/

Only good for 800m of vertical but doubtless will improve

Nutcrackers use a harness for a reason.

Yeah but nah. Love the whole experience. If you want a lift, ski inbounds.

That looks like a gadget from a Bond movie . I can see it having some use in Search And Rescue extractions.

I agree. I wouldn't like to see snowmobiles with generators setting these up wherever they wanted to. There would be impact on the serenity and meditative pleasure of earning turns. Though it could be a good setup for a fun snow-tube slope or an extra inbound beginner run away from the masses.

I just spectate, or rather listen as I can hear them from inside my lodge. They actually run one of the chairs for them as well.

    My thoughts exactly.
The distance that thing would take you...just bootpack it!

Niche applications. Freestyle aerials training, big air, movie guys shooting a booter in the BC, pipe/park quick turnaround.

@sly_karma beat me to it. Watching the athletes at water ramp and seeing how physically shattered the athletes are, watching them hike a jump, watching them hike Toppas when the Ridge chair is busy and you realise it is very hard work.

    Fair.
Must say I regularly wished for a magic carpet alongside the parks back in Jan/Feb. By the time this old duck got back up to the top I was hoping for a big queue to get my breath back and settle the wobbles!

    I was thinking more BC.

    I enjoy the uphill.

I find it meditative and I've always climbed quickly with a song in my head or counting steps.

I can see the attraction but...... it's back country for a reason. If we always keep looking for the easy path we'll all just become fat blobs. Damn mirrors.

I'm starting to look like your avatar. Shoulder injury turned me to snacking, less surfing and beer / bourbon plus no ski season to motivate my normal fitness.
