Mr nostradamus has been on his summer sabbatical, no doubt, but I'm curious as to whether he is still standing by his call of this winter being a shocker.

Also some time ago, if my recollection is correct Conservative forecaster provided a data set summarising our spencer's creek data in metre/days. Is my recollection correct, does anyone have the file handy?

Nosey picked SE Qld would get wet, he was a week or two early but was still an interesting call.

Sorry have been a little busy with other projects for the past few weeks.
The SE floods did not happen, Byron Bay did get a huge dump of rain 200mm+ over 24 hrs for roughly the dates indicated, this suggests errors in my calculations for latitudes.

Yes I'm standing by my forecast of a bad snow season for 2006, first 2 weeks in August will be ok but that is usually the case in any particular year. Out side those weeks may be a tad risky.
As I said a warm wet winter is not particularly good for either natural or man made snow.

like your call nosey.. I'm figuring in metre/days terms it'll be the worst since 98. I'd go further back than that but 1 ), I haven't had the time to work my rough figurings back further and 2) I'm wanting to find time to read more on the idea that 98 ish onwards is a different game... so i can.

To refresh everybody's memory, here is Nosey's original forecast on the 6th March:

SE QLD Charts for those periods. (1 Feb to 30 April)
