Thats a tragedy. Would explain why they used all of the adrenaline on the plane (6 ampules) and didn't do diddly.poor guy only 38, father of three
meningitis the cause
Surprising he got on the plane- its odd for meningitis to arrest early in the piece without some pretty severe preceding symptoms.
My mate is a very experienced anaesthetist/ICU consultant and there's not much he hasn't seen or done. For him to be unable to dig someone out of a hole is unusual without some significant mitigating factors.
Its never pleasant calling an end to resuscitation on anyone, let alone a 38 y.o young father.
