Hi,

Planning a trip to Mt. Buller on 4th - 6th september skiing sat and sun. Currently the plan is to camp overnight at Mirimbah campsite, but if possible we want to find accomodation under a roof. We dont want to pay much more than $70pperson extra if possible.
Any suggestions?

You should be able to get into an on-mountain lodge for around $100pp. Ski in/out is worth every cent

The Yha is a pretty run down and squalid experience, Buller Backpackers is marginally nicer.
But both places cater to the rock-bottom end of the market.

If you can, try and get a place in a club lodge that is open to the public.

The 'Gul
YHA is clearly superior to Buller Backpackers.

YHA is a proper lodge with a drying room, BB is not and doesn't have one (unless this has been added since '08) Both next door to the roo haa

It's practically in Nth Mansfield joke it's actually on mountain) but try Preston.
