Question Cheapest Open Accommodation for 1 adult & 1 child at Hotham or Dinner Plain

Hi
Any suggestions of cheapest open accommodation for 1 adult & 1 child at Hotham or Dinner Plain with direct access to XC trails?
Many of Hotham ski lodges are understandably shut. But if anyone knows any that are open and have 2 person/bed room (with ensuite given COVID) or a studio or 1 BR apartment, that would be great.
From Regional Vic & just hoping there may be some snow in next 7-10 days (before the state is shut down...)
And suggestions of best beginner and intermediate XC trails also appreciated

Try ski lodges open to the public such as Bundarra or Arrabri - adjacent to mellow XC trails

No idea if they are the cheapest options though.

When you say regional what do you mean specifically? can understand Hotham if coming from Gippsland.

Why isn’t falls an option if looking for XC?

Check out Omeo.

Cheap, close to Gippsland and the drive is relatively easy, especially for Dinner Plain XC (assuming snow ok).

Try Valhalla ski club. Great location, affordable, family friendly, nice vibe.

thanks for those suggestions (am checking booking availability/price for Valhalla, Bundarra, Arrabri). Would much rather stay on mountain than do daily commute. Coming from Macedon Ranges, so Falls Creek also an option (only slightly further than Hotham/Dinner Plain).

Slightly further but a much better drive.

Try Valhalla ski club. Great location, affordable, family friendly, nice vibe.

Extended family are foundation members of Valhalla. Can verify from numerous stays over the years, it is a great location, well managed, friendly and just well nice. When the snow depth allows, Frosty drop across the road is a great start to the day.
