On my old Fischer RC4 Pro boots there are like spring clips over the teeth on my cuff buckles that stop the buckles jumping/falling out when they are undone (really bad description, hopefully you know what I mean). I really liked having them, but don't see them anywhere - is there a reason they never caught on?

Yes because the are a PITA.

They do exactly what you don't want them to do when you're trying to take your boots off.

Whilst dps driver is right, the pita at the end of the day is tiny compared to the benefit during the day (as someone who undoes all buckles every run). I love mine and transfer them each time i buy new boots. But they are virtually impossible to find!

You need better fitting boots.:):D:D Mine get buckled up at the beginning of the day and unbuckled at the end of the day.

But yes I can see your point. @Cat_Herder did ask if there was a reason they never caught on and this was it.

I have major boot envy! Would have very cold sore feet if i didnt unbuckle. At end of day, i usually mega crank the power strap and that helps undo buckles.
