Anyone in Thredbo know why these runs have been closed for the past few days. I had reports of these runs being covered in snow. Just wanting to know so I can determine when to go back up to Thredbo as these are some of my favorite runs.

    The Glades
    Dream Run
    Pegasus

Dream Run is covered but it was closed yesterday because it was sheet ice.

Pegasus and The Glades do not have enough snow yet to be safely skied. One more dump and Pegasus will be ok, The Glades....maybe one or two more.

In good conditions Dream Run's great. In bad conditions, especially if it's icy, it can be dreadful.

Dream run was working quite well for a while on Sunday afternoon. In fact it was populated with refugees from the closure of the Merrits chair (wind hold - horizontal snow). By Monday it was back to sheet ice. I heard two intrepid skiers scraping down even before I saw them from the Gunbarrell. They were having a tough time of it and did not look at all happy.
