Cobungra Slope tobogganing only in 2020

    Yeah, addressed in their FAQ - the lift company had already made the call that they wouldn't run the poma this year.

    Unfortunately, the FAQ also says that you aren't allowed to ski or snowboard on the run either :(

    That’s a shame! The most isolated of the ‘Hotham area’ lifts.

    it looks like more a cost saving measure than a cv one - given that tobogganing is allowed.

    Around dinner time and after Is the time to take the kids and the skis/snowboard up for sneaky slide on that little hill. It’s a lovely end to the day. Shouldn’t be a drama. So quiet there at that time. Have you stayed at DP before?

    Not yet - it's on my list!

    I think the view is more that they don't want people attempting to ski down the slope as a learner while others are tobogganing down.

    You will love it there. Evening is a great time for a little practice/play even if it is only tobogganing allowed during the day. Few folks come out for their evening walk. Such a lovely vibe there. We used to stay there when the kids were small and started them off on the cross country trails before we introduced them to downhill. Kids are all strong skiers and boarders now.
