I'm currently in the process of putting together in word excel a comprehensive list of all shops in Australia, with their business details, address, phone numbers and web/email sites.

Also if anyone wishes to contribute a stores details/name so forth, by all means post away and I'll add to list. I've not even got any listings for South Australia or Tasmania and I'm almost certain they have a few stores there.

I'm aware there is quite an abundant list already on ski.com.au but not comprehensive.

I've found this particularly useful and thought I'd share the info, which has taken me almost 24 hours to compile.

I hope this doesn't breech forum guidelines and hope I've put it in the correct forum.

If I can I'd like to add this to ski.wiki at some stage.

Till then, if all is ok, can this post be made sticky or something?

    Cheers
    Wolvy.

Yep gocha on it !

Now just trying to work out the best way to convert an xls.(xcel spreadsheet file) into something that's gonna be applicable to wiki.ski format...

I've got it in these two comfortable formats:

    htm @ 12.2 KB's.
    or
    xls @ 55.0 KB's.

Tink I need Ian D's IT savvy here...

Yellow pages on line would be useful, but bear in mind some of the places listed as ski shops don't have much relevant gear.

How do you mean Yellow Pages online?
    As in hosting it there?
Or as in they are another useless resource?

Also, I've just put this listing together, whether it's a great stockist of products or not.

Tis was interesting to see how many shops n stuff we've around this massive continent.

Victoria seems to be the leader in quantity of outlets/shops/etc.

Mind you I've not got any listings for South Australia or Tasmania as yet...
