... the Pacific Northwest. This week, on top of historically well above average snow base, the PNW has received 5 or 6 days of solid snowfall. Some areas have received well over a metre, turning what was already very good into absolutely epic. Temps have been cool but not cold, with some snow falling almost to sea level around Vancouver, so quality powder is the word of the week in the resorts. This thread can be a place to record where the snow and weather have combined to make for ski perfection. We all know this is a day to day thing, so let's keep a running commentary of where it's hottest for those who are road tripping or considering getting on a plane.
