No, apparently we needed a boat to get to QLD. I heeded the many warnings about the weather.

the goldy is not the best value but honestly an international airport with no aero bridges isn't really an international airport. It is just regional airport. at least macquarie doesn't own it yet though

And a big hi from Aeropuerto Internacional Manzanillo-Costalegre (ZLO)! Alaska has one daily flight from LAX, Westjet out of Calgary is three times a week November-April. Flight crew doesn't leave the aircraft, return flight is gone within an hour.

One big bonus of no jetways is they use the rear exit door with a second staircase. Those in the know book seats near the rear of the aircraft for a crafty quick exit and a place near the head of the long line at passport control.
