Our regular dog sitter has fallen through.
We are due to be up for 2 weeks in August and the cost of kenneling in Melbourne is sky high. He would absolutely love the snow but we can’t have him at our accom and he doesn’t have an alpine permit.
Was anyone used or can recommend any kennelling service in Bright or surrounds area?

Probably a bit late to this one but did you have any luck with kennels up around there? I'd be interested to know this also.

I used the one in Glenrowan, which was fine for us, it's just off the freeway. The location is pretty much just behind the McDonalds near the Milawa turn off. The hours of operation did make for some trip planning though.
It's essentially a farm that has some kennels. It's not fancy but met our requirements.

Don't expect webcam access to their daily area, daily report cards or photo shoots of your pride and joy. If you are the sort of person that lets your dog sleep in your bed and regularly pamper as a substitute for children then you might be disappointed.

However, if you are looking for a place with shelter where they feed your dog, give them regular exercise and a brush then it's perfectly suitable.
