Going hiking in Tasmania for a few days.
    3 Capes walk, woohoo!
Read all the emails that came through and they mentioned travel insurance....

I never really thought about travel insurance for domestic travel...

    Thoughts, recommendations?

It will not cover any medical sort of things but will cover you for cancellations etc.
Check if your credit card has any coverage first.
IMHO - not worth it unless you have a lot of accommodation which would not be refunded if you cancelled.

Thanks, we already have ambulance cover (which would be my only concern about potential costs).. Accom for 1-2 nights, I'm prepared to wear the risk, plus I suspect it might be covered on my credit card.
