Great review. I'm surprised to hear it has ash in the core. That's a heavy hardwood for such a lightweight ski.

Yep. It does run the length of the ski and improves ride quality remarkably.

The layup of our Pagoda Tour ski is quite unique and I'm not just talking about the aerospace foam. The way we have the wood layered within the core is really different. Then to have a full wrap sidewall on a ski so light plus the way we do that sidewall now is also unique.

The ski goes so well that we seriously considered making it the lead construction to replace the Alchemist. No other touring ski in this weight class can match it. I guarantee.

They're beautiful and silky, with all the curves in the right places. How can you resist.

Stiff torsional rigidity.

Here's the great thing about using prepreg carbon fibre. It's a super reliable medium to work flex patterns off. Our Pagoda Tours on the whole are softer than the Alchemist or now Pagoda constructions.

Flex ratings are a bit subjective and we change the flex according to the model and shape. Let's just say they're about a 7. See below review for a better idea on performance and real world flexing of the ski.
