We are heading to Mt. Hotham tomorrow and given that there is no snow, is it allowed to drive your car to the lodge to drop stuff off? We are in Gallows Crt.

sorry DMZ, no dice. You'll need to find a short-term park along the north side of the GAR near Jack Frost.
Then either haul your luggage yourself or I believe there's a skidoo service to sled your gear in. Best to contact Hotham Resort for their no. or look online.

skidoo service to sled your gear in over gravel and dirt?

Suspect the same service will exist just using the quadbikes.

Last night cars were still driving into Davenport to drop off gear...not sure if they have put up the barricades this morning.

In fact I'm here right now, no barricades, cars still accessing, just don't stay for too long, they are enforcing parking rules....

Thanks - I just heard from someone else up there that they drove to the lodge. What a treat!

    Yeah, what a treat!

Oh, apart from the whole no-snow thing.

You could still drive in yesterday. Refreshing to see the new CEO of the RMB is customer service focused.

That's great news to cut down the work load when arriving/departing. However some of the gravel roads in Davenport are a bit soft and may suffer from heavy use while its wet. (Playing devil's advocate!)

What is the go with cars driving to accommodation from Higgi Drive via the Corral car park this year???

On 3 separate occasions this season I've seen cars bogged in deep* snow outside the Snowtel lodge.
Since the installation of carparks at 1750 there doesn't seem to be the same level of policing cars accessing Higgi drive.

Can someone please confirm that cars aren't allowed to drive up behind The Arlberg and beyond.

    *Relative to Australian conditions.

I would suggest contacting the Mount Hotham Resort Management Board with this type of enquiry rather than a public forum
