Hey guys. I've done some driving in snow and I've had no real dramas, but that has been in a small hatchback on chains and various four-wheel-drives. I've recently purchased a late 90s Hiace that is empty (ie very light over the driven rear wheels) that I'm currently converting into a camper. For now, it isn't laden with a pine bed and cabinetry, or anything heavy, so I ask: how dodgy is this going to be in the snow? Any wise old vanlifers with some advice? I must say, even on wet bitumin it is a little squirrelly. I'm not at all worried about most alpine roads, but I'm all about Hotham, and that road still gives me the woolies.
