    Easter Treats Galore At Hotham

Head to Hotham this Easter (6 to 9 April 2007) for an exhilarating range of activities and celebrations, headlined by the traditional ‘City versus Country’ polo match on Easter Sunday, 8 April 2007.

Cobungra Station, Victoria’s biggest cattle station, will once again play host to what has become Australia’s biggest polo match. Now in its 18th year, this celebrated no-rules match draws thousands of people keen to see some of Victoria’s top city based polo players do battle with high country cattlemen.

The day will also feature a huge range of high-country entertainment and activities for the whole family, including running races, tug-of-war, helicopter joy flights, face painting, pony rides, whip cracking and bucking bull rides. There will also be a six-piece country music band and for those fashionably inclined, there’s even a fashions on the field parade sponsored by Driza-Bone.

There will be plenty of Easter Eggs for the kids on Easter Sunday. Dinner Plain will host an Easter Egg hunt and those at the polo will view a spectacular drop of eggs from a helicopter hovering at 4,000 feet!

Easter at Hotham offers family fun across the whole weekend. The Hotham Village Chairlift will operate on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, offering scenic chairlift rides and mountain biking, and a rodeo will take place at nearby Omeo on Easter Saturday.

Easter Treat Package (Call 1800 hotham to inquire or book)

woot woot, got a ride in the Heli.
Had me a good time with some great folk.
Saved the son of a prominent 5+ generation family, from asphyxiation.
Nearly entried the steer ride at Omeo with 2 other mates in tow.
Forgot to say hello to a few people.
Nearly ended up in a chick brawl.
    Kiss n made up.
Saw some more High Country once sobered up.
Waved to the Herefords enroute Omeo.

    All fun.

    Fark it was funny.
All I remember was in a friendly way, I was misunderstood and the sheila thought I was taking the p155 out of her. Mind you she was older and a little more refined than me. In my drunken way, I said to her I mean no harm and we got chattin. Then she realised I was purdy kewl and said sorry. We cuddled n made up.
