Some of those cells to the north west are developing rather quickly, but there's more of them than earlier.
Will be interesting to watch the development.

Just getting away from Sydney for the moment...….Moruya (Plumwood) has had 146 mm's in 5.3 hrs.
Braidwood has had nearly 45 mm's, so a nice little top up for nearby Lake George.

I'm sort of glad the Metro missed these falls this morning. It would have been chaos around the city and burbs.

My cup fishpond runneth over. Calling International Rescue .... oh hang on .... Bucket brigade :p

Canberra is very, very soggy. 25mm in the gauge over the past day and a half until this morning, now another 25+. And the downpour continues.

Is the Terrey Hills radar malfunctioning at all? The situation looks quite different compared to the Wollongong 128km.

Didn't even realise that Wollongong was back as it was seemingly still down not long ago. Definitely some kind of malfunction going on with Terrey Hills radar.

Edit: Terrey Hills appears to not be updating for me either. May only be temporary, fingers crossed.

Edit 2: Welcome to the forum. :)

Thanks Homer! Stanhope Gardens till early next year :)

Also, not too much happening re weather situation. Light rain, no thunder.

Cool. Just a hop skip and jump from me.
Same here. Just light rain now and most of the noise has passed.
Looks like the TH radar went down just as that red cell hit there.
Terrible timing for the radar to go down!!!

Rain getting heavier here - borderline moderate. Very impressive given how many storms have bypassed us for the month of October.

Same here PS.
Beautiful steady rain for the past hour with occasional rolling thunder. Some heavier periods of rain in between.
Unfortunately, Wollongong radar doesn't really cut it for us here in northern Sydney but does give an indication.
Temp has dropped to 16 now under the southerly.
I'm looking forward to a cooler showery day tomorrow and then a drier week so I can get back to work on the roofing job I'm currently undertaking. This past week has been annoying tbh.

Moderate rain! Sustained moderate rain. :D

This storm has gone from very light, to light rain now to moderate.

Given the lacklustre month very happy to see something that's not just light rain. Beautiful.
More rumbles to my west. A thundery mess to finish the day off. Not bad!

Yep, same here. Just beautiful!!

And the steady rain has continued for another hour again and become heavier.
Up over 20 mm's now. Temp is 14.8 deg's. Just beautiful.
I chose the right night to do roast chicken and veg in the oven.
We went meatballs and tomato sauce..
Over rocket, eggplant and zucchini.

It's gone really still on the coast...
Low level cloud tracking north while mids and storm out flow is pushing towards us.
It's a legit layer cake
