Is this the season ender coming?
At ~2.5m at Spencer’s... that’s a big ‘No’ from me Dawg...
In all seriousness, check the BBQ thread for up to date natterings of it. Still a looong way out.
As above, not yet.
btw, your avatar gets a tick.
Looks a lot less moisture on this mornings update. Too far out to really try an guess whats going to eventuate.
However, at Perisher, with base of around 240cm, there will be skiable snow until the season close October 7th, no matter what happens. A very substantial wet event would spell trouble for parts of the resort like Smiggins. Also would be a problem for lower half of thredbo, Selwyn etc.
Let the corn harvest begin
Looks O.K on BOM. Still miles out but looks better than is described above. Yes I will be optimistic as for the first time in I don't know, Im staying on mountain next weekend.
No, There will be enough snow to BC XC ski well into October. Thus Perisher , Hot Ham and Buller have extended their seasons of operation further into October. If the snow was going melt in a couple of sunny days soon then these resorts would lose money and that is not what they plan on doing.
