I'm hearing lots of stories of people being double charged for EAP purchases.

Charge me 5 times. Don’t care just let me book tomorrow and I’ll sort out the rest later!

Yeah that was my anxiety last week.

That is slightly reassuring, thanks for letting me know. Hopefully they haven't tried to double charge me, and that's the reason the debit has not processed.

I just got an email stating the season for Falls and Hotham delayed. They still haven't taken my payment for passes (wonder if that is because we only ski at Falls?). Also we live in a 'hot spot' - stress levels are high!

Chill - think, season, not opening week!

I ski Perisher & Falls, got same email & they have also not taken my payment - it’s the case for multiple others Epic purchasers at Falls too.

    Reservation Information for Pass Holders

Due to challenging early season snow conditions, we have made the difficult decision to delay the opening of Falls Creek and Hotham’s on-mountain operations until Monday 29 June (conditions permitting). Perisher will open as scheduled on Wednesday 24 June (again, conditions permitting).

    Passholder Reservations
At 2pm on Tuesday 23 June AEST, 2020 Epic Australia Pass, 2019-20 Epic Pass and 2019-20 Epic Military Pass holders will be able to make Perisher pass access reservations for the period 24 June to 5 July.

    FIND OUT MORE

Recent warm weather and later than expected lift openings has required us to make some changes to the pass reservations process. We will advise when Hotham and Falls Creek pass access reservations will be able to be made. We will also advise when Perisher pass access reservations for the period 6 July to 12 July will be able to be made.

Thank you again for your patience.

    Email received today.

Well... woke up this morning, and still haven’t been debited my remaining amount of my EAP. Wonder if it’s worth contacting them.

I was more concerned I didn't have one in their eyes (I have not got any email comms of late)

So I tried to purchase it again and it wouldn't let me (because I already have one)

So now I'm not so concerned that the money hasn't come out, I am hoping I can still book days at 2pm.

It's kinda crazy - should be like any bill set up with direct debit. That you can manually pay prior to the DD date...

    Payment Update!
We wanted to let you know that we were unable to process all Epic Australia Pass payments yesterday. If you have not seen a charge on the credit card on file yet, you should expect to see one by Friday 26 June.
Mine was in my card yesterday.

is it a work email, private, gmail etc?
could be over enthusiastic spam filter that's not letting it even get to you. If it's a work email, try using a different one because it's highly unlikely you can fix that. If it's private then see what you can do at the isp or whover hosts your account - probably accessible by webmail in a spam box on the server, or spam settings tweakable.. If it's gmail you should be able to find it in a spam box

There appears to be some wonderful circular linking going on right now. The Epic Australia Pass website directs you to the respective resort sites to make the reservations.

Each resort site directs you to the Perisher Pass Holder Reservations page. That page then directs you to.... well, nowhere.

The also appear to have pre-emptively taken down the Hotham and Falls Creek stores to give more oomph to the Perisher store, but it's still not enough.

Shouldn't be telling you this (;)), but I had to log into -> Perisher - Reserve Your Resort Access.
The interface was very similar to the one for regular day passes, but you could only "add" 1 day at a time to your cart.

email them, you won't be able to get through by phone.
I had emails going to an old address. Turned out there was an error with the account setup that they had to fix. They also took my payment that day (last week) to make sure it didn't run into any issues because of it.

Struggled at 2pm on the mobile on the side of the Hume & gave up.

Tried again at 6pm and managed to book for 26/06.

    July dates seem greyed out.

Their various info releases have been saying that there won’t be restrictions after mid July.

Perisher have pretty good analytics on their numbers, the comms have actually said there will be no restrictions on season pass holders, not regular day pass buyers. Could be the difference.

I think a lot depends on snow cover. if it's average I think they think they can give epic pass holders a decent go. if the snow is crap ...

    I think you missunderstood.

They aren't sold out because all the dates til the 12th of July (let alone beyond) have not been released so how can they have sold out?

Seriously?? Only got back in this morning and all dates showing as sold out. Clinging to hope that they decide to release some more spaces otherwise I just paid $5000 dollars for one day of family skiing and six days kicking around Jindy...far out.

Perisher have extended the ability to cancel epic passes until 5th July. I have bit the bullet this morning and they confirmed almost instantly ...very sad day :(

Vail, to their credit, have been more than fair in offering this imo. I'm super impressed with their customer service, but the IT stuff...not so much.

i'm trying to figure out if an email is a scam or another ****up. has anyone else received this?

VR have cancelled my booking because I'm in a hotspot postcode.

I'm not anywhere near a hotspot nor have I made any bookings, other than to buy an EAP. in fact the email address they used is not the one that I used for my EAP.

I’m booked at Perisher and haven’t received this (in Melbourne in a non-affected post code) and didn’t receive this.

    Probably fishing scam...?
