Experimental long range forecasts - northern hemi

    They are much more detailed than in Oz and make use of a huge range of factors. I've linked to the UK Met winter NAO analysis here

    I'm not making a forecast because the european situation is incredibly complex compared to Oz. In Oz we have 1 predominant weather pattern with the occasional ECL to stir things up. In Europe the alps mark a clash of 2 weather patterns between Siberia and the Atlantic with things changing on a monthly basis.

    If asked for an opinion however I'd hedge that the early season will be poorer than average and the later season above average. Snowmaking will struggle to give sufficient depths early on. Eastern europe will perhaps be best early.
