I had the fortune of snow where I work yesterday,Gisborne, regional Victoria, it was like being up really high, we are at 443m. Taken on my drive home back to lockdown. Snow was light and fluffy. Got my dose for 2020
snow on the hills round our place too, even though the mountains were shrouded. BIL (also a regional resident) asked if we wanted to catch up this am. He planned to drive to Mitta via trappers gap so he would be nearby. we suggested that he better check that the road was a actually open (goes to 1100m) and maybe take a chainsaw too. he took the low road instead
That's a high road Trappers Gap. I use it for Sambar deer hunting. Interested to see how far he would have got. Definitely 4WD material after this weather event and a chainsaw is required. Would have been fun trying though.
