Trip Report Falls Creek . A day out on XC skis.25.6.18

Conditions were sunny but icy. My skiing skills are not in the expert level at all. I am now , four weeks later XC skiing easy Blue run XC BC terrain but this green run XC ski day out to Watch bed Creek and back was a good start for skiing XC at Falls Creek. XC Skiing The Heathy Spur Loop is now in my plans for early August 2018 at Falls Creek .

I twisted my ankle on this daytrip and it is still a bit sore . So what! , nothing is broken and I will ski on it all season.

@Mister Tee on XC Skis - about 4 years ago, did you ever arrive at Federation hut and have someone sitting on the deck with a fresh brew of coffee offer you a cup? If so, that was me.

I do go up to Fed. hut at Mt. FT. in most seasons if /when I can manage it, but I can't remember such a meeting too well. I meet all sorts of people in my Oz Alps travels.
