Monday was windy with fog and some r#@n. Very few lifts open in the morning, but gradually saw more open as wind abated a bit.

Tuesday was blue sky with occasional cloud/fog. Big freeze overnight meant many of the runs were very firm. Some lift breakdowns were frustrating but thankfully not too long. As the day wore on, the front softened, while the back stayed fairly firm but more forgiving than earlier. Lots of fun to be had all over the mountain. It's a joy to have all the lifts open.

    Pick of the day:
    Monday - Lakeside
    Tuesday - International

Didn't ski wombats, but if Hoot was this good, wombats would have been fine too.

Currawong, did you ride the Falls Express at all?

Do you find it was running much slower then normal? Even on the days where is wasn't windy, e.g. Last Friday / Sat.

I was on the Falls Creek Express a lot over the weekend and found i was much the same as always, perhaps you were super keen to get to the top.

Summit was heavy going on the weekend but on Sunday they groomed the slot and that was a lot of fun. Township would be my pick of the mountain on Sunday.

International was in excellent condition and I did a number of runs there.

I even got to do one of my favourite long trips from the top of Eagle, down the home trail to Ory's trail and into the town down past Koki and Julians and through to Falls Creek express. Always a bit of fun.

Last hoot and Wombats were great as was all of the Sun Valley runs. Best its been in a few years.

[IMG] I like your system for grading the quality of runs, Currawong! [IMG] I might do the same for my reports.
