Who do you reckon does the best food on mountain this season?
Or Blue Cow sausage sizzle.
Burgers at the bottom of Eyre ! And if the sun is shining, you can sit at the tables and warm up..but watch those thieving crows !
was so peeved that the sausage sizzle hadn't started yet the other weekend at blue cow....the alternatives are crap!
I would have said Guthega Pub, but I reckon their quality is down a bit this year. Anyone else feel the same way??
The pork spare ribs at the white spider joint with eiger chalet
For me, any one of: BBQ sausage sizzle + salad at Sundeck, pizza at Aldo's (does that count as on-mountain?), or veal schnitzel + salad at Guthega Pub (which apparently changed hands again a couple of weeks ago - I haven't tried anything but the schnitzel there this year). Pies and sausage rolls at mid-station are still good too IMHO.
