First trip to Hotham

Hi - Wife and I doing first day trip to Hotham tomorrow. Have hiked around Hotham a fair bit and I know the Loch car park and the Coral park. We will arrive reasonably early (8.30ish). Any tips on where we should park for easy access to skiing. We are used to Falls where parking is pretty cruisy.

It's all in a big long line & the runs basically go off the side (either side in parts) so you're rarely too far from a run, whether it's a favourite or not.

Will probably be a battle for day parking on a Saturday though.

Make sure you turn into the Loch Car Park and not the adjacent cat track used by the Groomers.

Mate and I once did that by mistake on a big powder morning. Made for some good stories.

just remember that the only way back to Lock car park is HV lift. no busses go there.

Loch carpark fits roughly how many cars? What's a rough cut off time on a weekend to just drive past knowing its already full? 8am? 8.30am?

Probably 50 cars?? Got there at 8.00am and only two or three cars in before me. Great day Saturday despite the crowds. Thanks everyone for the help

I was the first car on Saturday at loch
Rode heavenly from 7.30 till 9.30 then played at blue ribbon back at car at 12.00 to see the parking attendant checking vehicles
