Do you reckon you'd need the vestibule as well for Auusie conditions?

Thanks for posting the link! This tent is absolutely 100% rad AF.

I bought this two person tent as a one person tent with space to store my gear inside with me - I've committed almost all of my mountaineering activities to ski-mountaineering during winter and thus I prefer the idea of keeping my boots warm with me inside. Reason I am selling is to free up monies for paragliding trip to Himalaya in October.

EDIT: So to answer your question, in my view no. But it depends on how you decide to manage your gear.

If this doesn't sell by winter, it will be used for sleeping high on Feathertop :)

If you do, bring a snow shovel and dig a hole down so you can cook and store gear outside with 2 people in the tent. 2 person tents when used by 1 however provide a nice generous comfy space if there's adverse weather, especially for tall people.

exactly, and when I'm camping, in the snow, or the dirt, a vestibule provides that little bit of extra space at a relatively light weight.
